Declaration on Accessibility

MetaSystems Hard & Software GmbH, MetaSystems Probes GmbH and all affiliated companies endeavor to make this website accessible in accordance with EU Directive 2016/2102 and the BFSG.

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.metasystems-career.com.

1. Status of Compatibility with The Requirements

This website is partially compliant with EU Directive 2016/2102 and the BFSG.

The following elements and functions do not comply with the guidelines:

  • Images and Graphics Without Informative Function

Some images and graphics on this website are for decorative purposes only and some contain alternative texts to meet technical requirements. In accordance with the EU Web Accessibility Directive (Directive (EU) 2016/2102), alternative texts are provided where necessary. Purely decorative elements contain minimal or empty alternative text to avoid redundant information for assistive technologies.

  • Colors & Contrasts

This website uses the color #7C8189 (a medium gray) for typographically subordinate elements such as subheadings. These text elements are not interactive and do not convey any control-relevant information. It is acknowledged that the contrast ratio between this gray and a white background is below the minimum contrast requirements for normal text (4.5:1) according to WCAG 2.1. However, since these texts serve a purely decorative or structural purpose and do not convey any essential content or functions, this color choice is intentionally applied in a low-barrier but not fully accessible context.

  • Text on Images

For design reasons, text is used directly on images in some places. This text usually only has a decorative or supporting function and is not relevant for understanding the content. We make sure that all important information is also provided as regular text so as not to restrict accessibility in accordance with WCAG 2.1.

  • Simple Language

We strive to use clear and understandable language wherever possible. However, due to the scientific complexity and special nature of our application, the use of technical terms and complex topics cannot always be avoided. We are aware that some content may therefore be difficult to understand for users without a relevant academic or professional background.

  • Forms

Currently, error messages in forms are not displayed directly in the respective input field. This can make it difficult to assign and correct input errors, especially for users of screen readers or other assistive technologies. We are aware of this limitation and are actively working on a solution to display error messages in the future in a barrier-free and field-related manner.

  • Navigation

Recurring page elements such as navigation areas or other structuring content are currently not grouped as such or marked with headings. In addition, there are currently no jump labels with which these areas can be skipped. This can make navigation difficult, especially for users of screen readers. We plan to clearly structure these areas in future and provide them with corresponding jump labels and semantic headings to improve usability.

  • Headings

For design reasons, headings on some pages are currently not used in a semantically correct order. This means that hierarchy levels may be skipped. This can make orientation and navigation with assistive technologies more difficult in accordance with WCAG 2.1. A revision of the heading structure is planned to ensure a clear, logical and accessible structure in future.

This assessment is based on a self-assessment carried out by MetaSystems Hard & Software GmbH from 28.04.2025 to 04.06.2025. We intend to correct these deficiencies as part of the editorial revision of our content.
