Information for Applicants

Principles of Data Processing at MetaSystems.

You have come to this page via a link because you want to find out about our handling of (your) personal data. In order to fulfill our information obligations according to Art. 12 et seq. of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are happy to provide you with information on data protection below:

Which of your data do we process? And for what purposes?

If we have received data from you, we will generally only process it for the purposes for which we received or collected it. You have provided us with your application documents. We use the information contained therein solely for the purpose of filling this position.

We also consider the application as consent to such processing (Art. 6 (1) lit a GDPR). If you no longer wish to participate in the selection process, you can revoke this consent at any time. In this case, we will no longer process your documents in the application process. In any case, your application will be deleted after completion of the procedure.

In the event of a revocation, your data will be deleted unless we are required by law to retain it further, and provided that legal action periods have elapsed. You can ask us about this retention period for your individual case at any time.

Data processing for other purposes shall only be considered if the necessary legal requirements pursuant to Art. 6 (4) GDPR are met. We will, of course, comply with any information obligations pursuant to Art. 13 (3) GDPR and Art. 14 (4) GDPR in this case.

To which recipients is the data passed on?

As a matter of principle, your personal data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the implementation of the application process. The disclosure only relates to companies that provide services for us, e.g., our tax advisor or lawyer. These service providers will only use your data on our behalf and never for their own purposes.

 Where is the data processed?

Your personal data is processed by us exclusively in data centers in the Federal Republic of Germany.

 Your rights as person affected

You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we process about you.

In the case of a request for information that is not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may then require proof from you that you are the person you claim to be.

Furthermore, you have a right to rectification or deletion or to restriction of processing, insofar as you are entitled to this by law.

Furthermore, you have a right to object to the processing within the scope of the legal requirements. The same applies to the right to data portability.

You have the right to object to the processing of your data in connection with direct marketing in accordance with Art. 21 (1) and (2) GDPR, if this is done on the basis of a balancing of interests.
